Om Shri Sai Baba Mahila Shikshan Prashikshan Sansthaan (“the Sansthaan”, “we”, “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information shared with us by donors, volunteers, beneficiaries and visitors to omsrisaibabamahilasikshan.com.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you interact with us:

Donor information — name, email, phone, postal address, PAN (for 80G receipts), donation amount, payment-mode details, transaction reference.
Volunteer / contact information — name, email, phone, message and any details you submit through forms on our site.
Beneficiary information — collected only with consent from beneficiaries (or guardians) for our programmes (training, scholarships, kanya vivah aid, health camps).
Technical data — IP address, browser, device type, pages visited; collected via cookies and standard server logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process donations, generate 80G tax receipts (mandatory under the Income Tax Act, 1961) and acknowledge contributions.
To respond to enquiries, volunteer applications and CSR partnership requests.
To send periodic updates, impact reports and event invitations — only if you have opted in.
To comply with legal, regulatory and audit requirements (Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Income Tax Department, FCRA where applicable).
To improve the website and our programmes.

3. Razorpay & Payment Data

Online donations are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. We do not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials on our servers. Razorpay’s privacy practices are governed by their own policy at razorpay.com/privacy.

4. Data Retention

Donor records are retained for at least 8 financial years as required under the Income Tax Act for 12A/80G compliance. Submission inbox messages are retained for up to 3 years unless deletion is requested. Beneficiary records are retained as long as the programme runs and the beneficiary remains active.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Information is shared only:

With auditors, the Income Tax Department and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to fulfil statutory obligations.
With our payment-gateway partner (Razorpay) to process donations.
With service providers (web hosting, email) under written confidentiality terms, on a need-to-know basis.
When required by law, court order or to protect our legal rights.

6. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies for session management (admin login, CSRF tokens) and a Service Worker for performance caching. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser at any time, though some features (admin area) will not work without them.

7. Security

We implement reasonable safeguards including HTTPS encryption, password hashing (bcrypt), rate-limiting, CSRF protection, and a strict Content Security Policy. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. You share information at your own risk.

8. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion (subject to statutory retention obligations such as 80G donor records).
Withdraw consent for newsletters and non-essential communication.

9. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 except as part of programme delivery (e.g. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scholarships) where parental/guardian consent is obtained.
